'Iolani L. Bullock is Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at The Carlyle Group. In her role, she drives global DEI strategy with a data-driven focus on programming and initiatives.  

'Iolani began her career on Wall Street where she worked within diversity recruitment and human capital management. Most recently, she sat on the MBA admissions committee for Georgetown's McDonough School of Business and served as the first full-time employee to oversee diversity initiatives within the school. Her collaborative efforts led to a dramatic increase in the diversity of the student population, noted as the highest on record since 2013.  

'Iolani earned a B.A. in Africana Studies, Marketing and Communications from New York University and an M.B.A from Georgetown University. She is originally from The Bronx, NY, and resides in Ward 8.
