Global Citizens Public Charter School offers a robust Extended Learning Program. We offer Art, Robotics, Coding, Drama, Spanish, Mandarin, Capoeria, Homework Help, and much more! In addition, snacks and daily fitness activities are offered to our students.

Registration for our Extended Learning Program for the 2023-2024 school year is officially open.  Registration will remain open through Friday, August 25, 2023. While our goal is to accommodate as many families as possible, we will likely have a waitlist after a certain number of spots have been filled. We will evaluate our waitlist on an ongoing basis to ensure we can accommodate as many families as possible. 

Registration

• Families must complete a program registration form via Procare here in order to secure their seat in the program. Please note there is a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee that must be paid before you can submit your student(s) registration for the Extended Learning Programming. This portal will manage registration, attendance, invoicing, and payment history for all students enrolled in the program for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Families are encouraged to download the Procare App on their smartphones (Procare is both Android and apple friendly).

• This registration fee will reserve your child's space in the program. The registration fee is non-refundable should you decide not to enroll your child in the Extended Learning Program.

• If you have more than one student that you are registering for the Extended Learning Program, please plan to submit only one registration form and one fee. You will receive an automated response from the system after you process your registration.

• Once your registration has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email of acceptance to our Extended Learning Program. 

Invoicing and Billing

• Invoices are generated on the 1st of each month and are due by the 5th of the month. For example, the first invoice generated on September 1, 2023 (that will include the week of August 28th) will be due on September 5, 2023, for the period of August 28, 2023 through September 30, 2023.

• Families can conveniently make payments towards your student’s account from the Procare app or website. Families can pay with all major credit and debit cards or arrange for ACH payments. Please note that all credit card payments will incur a 2.7% processing fee and ACH payment will incur a $1.00 processing fee. 

Pricing 

Below, please find pricing for Extended Learning Programming for the 2023-2024 School Year: 

• Before Care Programming Only: $340.00 per month 

• After-School Programming Only: $500.00 per month

• Before + After School Programming: $750.00 per month 

Drop-In Fees

• $40.00 per day (for before-care programming) 

• $60.00 per day (for after-school programming)

• Active Military: 15% Off

• Employee: 15% Off

*We are currently in the process of becoming a licensed site that will accept vouchers from the District of Columbia. We hope to have more information on this prior to the first day of the program. For now, all registering should expect to pay one of the fees above.
