Malanda is the Vice President of Operations at Jones Lang LaSalle for the Mid-Atlantic Region. She manages a team of over 25 brokerage administrative professionals in Tysons, Richmond, Norfolk, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Bethesda. Malanda strives to improve JLL’s organizational processes through improving quality, productivity, and efficiency across business lines. In addition, she co-leads JLL’s Mid-Atlantic Internship Program and is an integral member of the corporation’s D&I initiative.

Malanda serves as the Black Professionals Network (BPN) Americas Operations Lead and assists with hosting the annual BEST (Black Excellence) Summit which brings together JLL Black professionals across the nation. Malanda also spearheads the first Diversity & Inclusion Council for the Mid-Atlantic region.

Malanda graduated from Howard University with a BBA focus in International Business; Finance/ Japanese. Originally from St. Lucia, she now resides in Ward 7. Most recently, Malanda was recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 Honoree 2021. She is a parent board member.
