Chloe Jonas is the Director of Special Populations at Global Citizens PCS. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chloe has loved and lived in the DC and Maryland areas for the last 15 years. In her role, Chloe oversees compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to students with disabilities including, but not limited to, IDEA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, for Global Citizens PCS and for our Non-Public school partners. Chloe also provides language development support to children speaking English as a second language as well as intervention support to children who need additional literacy support.
Chloe graduated from Howard University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She's also taken masters courses in Early Childhood Education, and knew from an early age that education was her calling.
She is a proud mother to her daughter, Eliana, but often refers to the students she serves as her children, too. Chloe holds a deep belief that a high quality education is a human right and should not be based on a scholar’s zip code. It has been her mission since beginning her studies to provide students access to resources and opportunities that they often would not experience. Chloe is also a firm believer that teaching a love of self, appreciation of others, and good character are necessary ingredients for the recipe of success.
